About Floorplan Studio
Floorplan Studio is a family-owned and operated flooring business based in Sydney, helping homeowners, renovators, builders and property investors create beautiful and practical flooring solutions for over 10 years.
Founded and operated by Henry and his family, Floorplan Studio was built on a simple belief: flooring advice should be honest, practical and based on real installation experience. We believe the most expensive floor is not always the best floor. Our role is to help customers find the flooring solution that best suits their home, lifestyle and budget.
As both a flooring supplier and installation specialist, we work with a wide range of flooring products including laminate flooring, hybrid flooring, engineered timber flooring, vinyl flooring, carpet and solid timber flooring. By managing both supply and installation, we are able to provide practical recommendations based on how products perform in real homes, not just how they look in a showroom.
Unlike many flooring businesses where the showroom and installation team operate separately, we spend a large part of our day on site. Working directly with installers, suppliers and homeowners gives us immediate feedback from real projects and helps us stay connected to the latest products, installation methods and industry developments.
From product selection and site inspections to subfloor preparation, floor levelling, installation and after-sales support, we manage the entire flooring journey with a focus on quality workmanship, clear communication and attention to detail.

Our showroom is conveniently located in Thornleigh, Sydney, making it easy for homeowners from Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, The Hills District, Epping and surrounding areas to visit. With easy parking and convenient access, as well as extended weekend trading hours, we aim to make the flooring selection process as easy and stress-free as possible.
Inside our showroom, you will find a carefully selected range of laminate flooring, hybrid flooring, engineered timber flooring, vinyl flooring, solid timber flooring and carpets, including polyester, solution dyed nylon and wool options. We offer a wide variety of colours, styles and price points, allowing customers to compare different products side by side and find a flooring solution that suits both their home and budget.
We work with many of Australia’s most trusted flooring brands, including Preference Floors, Quick-Step, Wonderwood, Victoria Carpets, Quest Carpets and many others. However, we do not choose products simply because they are well-known brands. Every product in our showroom has been selected based on real-world performance, reliability, supplier support and our experience working with these products in Sydney homes. We believe customers deserve access to flooring products that are not only attractive, but also proven to perform over time.
More importantly, our showroom is a place where you can receive practical and honest advice. Our team is happy to discuss your project, answer questions and provide recommendations based on your specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all sales approach.
