Preference De Marqué Parquetry – Herringbone & Chevron
Preference De Marqué is a premium engineered oak parquetry collection designed for statement interiors. Available in both herringbone and chevron patterns, it combines classic European style with modern engineered stability.
Constructed with a multi-layer hardwood core and a 4mm or 6mm solid oak wear layer (15mm or 21mm total thickness), De Marqué delivers durability and dimensional accuracy. Finished with a light brushed surface and VOC-free water-based matte coating (E1 rated), it meets Australian fire and slip standards and is suitable for hydronic in-slab heating.
De Marqué parquetry requires direct adhesive installation only on a flat, dry substrate and should be installed by experienced parquetry professionals. It is backed by a 25-year structural warranty, 20-year residential wear warranty and 5-year commercial warranty.
Care & Maintenance
Daily maintenance is simple. Regular vacuuming, cleaning with a well-wrung damp mop, or using a robotic vacuum cleaner are all suitable for Pronto timber flooring. The manufacturer recommends Bona Timber cleaning kits for ongoing care. Floorplan Studio stocks Bona products and can provide detailed advice if required.
